“ This is my favorite sushi place in Camarillo. The ambiance is simple with perhaps 10 tables plus the sushi bar. Service was very friendly. Our party of 5 enjoyed the miso soup, a variety of specialty rolls and a bento box. We ordered our favorite rolls plus the crispy rice with spicy tuna. The crispy rice was too crisp (too crunchy), but the other rolls did not disappoint. Our favorite was the OMG! Roll with fresh salmon and tuna. ”

“ I can't believe my last review was 10 YEARS AGO! Oh my! Planet Sushi is my favorite sushi spot in Camarillo and so far probably in my top 5 sushi spots in Camarillo. I think people forget about this spot or don't realize how stellar it is. To have been frequenting this spot for the last ten years says something. The sushi is quality, the fresh rolls are to die for, great non sushi items, and the staff are always friendly. Sushi planet has some of the best fresh rolls around. Also the presentation is a 10/10 here. If you haven't been I'd urge you to give them a try because I always find their fish is super fresh and the rolls are more creative than other spots. They've been able to stay open all of these years because they have just really good food. I also like that when I don't feel like sushi or want some different types of dishes this place always hits. For sushi these are my favorite: - OMG Roll - Albacore Delight Roll - Scallop cut roll - Mexican cut roll - Salmon sushi is always fire If you are not in the mood for sushi I love their lunch and dinner bento boxes. Reasonably priced and comes with a lot of food. Pro tip: best miso soup in Ventura county is served here. Back to the non-sushi items. Here are some favs: - Chicken fried rice - seasame chicken (dip in teriyaki sauce) - Shrimp tempura The staff are always nice here and friendly. I like dining inside because it's clean and comfortable. Staff are always attentive and never a bad vibe in the place. I've also been a long time costumer because their takeout is always flawless. I usually order delivery or takeout from here every other month (for the last ten years) and NOT ONCE has my order ever been Incorrect. Like that's seriously unheard of. They really pay attentive to detail here and always make a take away experience a pleasant one. If I had to make one comment that isn't gushy about how much I love this spot it would probably just be that it's a little pricey for what it is. Definitely due to the cost of goods I've seen the prices go up over the years. Some of my favorite rolls are $20+ and I do get that's a little steep. I've cut back on ordering as much just because I can't leave without spending $40-50 here every time but it's good, what can I say. Sushi planet is thankfully my local favorite sushi joint and I'm happy to keep supporting them because they've never let me down. ”

“ this restaurant is placed in a great location, such as cute idea for a date spot as there are places to walk around. there is a small parking lot, but plenty of other parking spaces nearby if the lot is full. we went on a thursday evening and didn't need to wait for a table. there wasn't an abundance of seating, so i wouldn't recommend a party larger than 6. my family chose this spot for dinner after trying to find a sushi restaurant in camarillo. it definitely hit the spot. i didn't even get photos of all the things we ordered, but we were able to try 4 appetizers and 6 rolls! i would recommend the squid karaage. the crab cheese was just okay. the rolls were nice and big and were all pretty tasty. the menu had a lot of variety but we were in the mood for rolls i guess! the service was just right, not overbearing but attentive enough for a great experience. we were pleased to have a great dinner here for part of our family time! even my picky stepdad was satisfied and told us we chose a good restaurant! ”

“ Finally got to come here and it did not disappoint. Located just east of the Camarillo Outlets on a very trendy and busy street. You can also see it off the 101 freeway. It was a great night cap after some outlet shopping. It was close to closing times. And the staff were a bit weary but still friendly and attentive. The food quality was excellent. The ambiance was dim, chill, and bit romantic. Definitely worth a return visit. ”
